June 23, 2020 – Plano, TX – GuideIT today announced the successful implementation of a business continuity plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic for Catalyst Health Network, and their independent provider clinics that encompasses over 300 office locations, nearly 1,000 primary care providers and more than one million patients.
This partnership was developed during an unprecedented time, as Catalyst Health Network were engrossed in meeting the significantly increased healthcare demands of their communities. As a provider of technology managed services, GuideIT managed the transition of the technology process, including telemedicine solutions, remote call center support, work from home support for other clinical support staff, and an expanded health network and COVID-19 hotline.
“Since the onset of COVID-19, our team has been laser-focused on providing access and available resources to our communities, all while keeping our staff members informed and safe,” said Christopher Crow, M.D. President of Catalyst Health Network. “We are grateful for the partnership we have with GuideIT and their ability to quickly and effectively manage our technology transition during this unprecedented time.”
As a result of the seamless implementation of the business continuity plan, Catalyst Health Network was able to quickly and successfully deploy many of the first drive-thru testing centers in North Texas, introduce antibody testing at their testing sites and increase the number of their practices using telemedicine from 1 percent to 99 percent, among many other achievements throughout the early stages of the pandemic.
“Catalyst Health Network and their independent providers have been instrumental in providing access and information to their community at this most critical time,” said Chuck Lyles, CEO for GuideIT. “We are proud to have supported them during the pandemic and will continue to do so through our partnership moving forward.”
